Warren Wood Energy Park

Exagen Group is seeking
to develop Warren Wood Energy Park, a renewable energy project comprising a ground mounted solar photovoltaics (PV) array with
co-located battery storage.

The land available for development consists of one parcel of land located 1.5km to the north-east of Cawston, Norfolk. Warren Wod Energy Park will be a solar farm co-located with a battery energy storage system (BESS) connecting to the UKPN Salle substation via a cable, the route for which we are consulting on to confirm. The site will be sensitively designed within the land available, with input from local residents, planning experts and all relevant consultees.

We have been unable to apply for a pre-application with Broadland District Council for our plans due to a pause at the council, we are consulting as far as possible with relevant officers and consultants.

We have now submitted a full planning application to Broadland District Council. Any representations or comments on the application from interested parties should be submitted directly to the council using the online form under the ‘Comments’ section on the application or in writing (letter or email) to Broadland District Council, The Horizon Centre, Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich NR7 0WF or planning@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk quoting the application reference number 2025/1531.
